About Summerfield North Swim Team
The Summerfield North Stingrays have been practicing, competing, and building community in North Raleigh for 40 years! We are a summer swim team for swimmers aged 4 to 18 that prioritizes friends, community, fun, exercise, skill building, healthy competition, and good sportsmanship.
Summerfield North and Wycombe Manor Swim and Racquet Club features six swimming lanes, a slide, two diving boards, and a tennis court. We hope you have a wonderful 2024 summer.
Swimmer Details
Any Summerfield North/Wycombe Swim & Racquet Club member aged 4-18 can join the swim team, participate in practices, and support the team at meets. Swimmers who are able to swim the distance of their race unassisted will compete in meets. Those who need assistance may participate in an alternate competition opportunity during practice. More details on the specifics of this to come.
Race Distances:
6 and under - 15 meters (a little over half the length of the pool)
7-10-year-olds - 25 meters (one length of the pool)
11 and up - 50 meters (both lengths of the pool)
