Coach Zoe is back as the head coach for a 3rd summer! She is a senior at Appalachian State University, where she is a member of the university swim team and is majoring in kinesology. Zoe is also certified in lifeguarding, CPR/AED, first aid, and USA Swimming Safe Sport, bringing a strong emphasis on safety and athlete well-being to her coaching. Zoe has a diverse background in both competitive swimming and coaching. She previously served as a YOTA East Age Group Select and Senior II Assistant Swim Coach and competed for YOTA for five years. During her time as head coach, Zoe has led the Stingrays to both division championship and runner-up finishes, reflecting her dedication to team success and athlete development. With multiple seasons of coaching experience, she has developed a confident and effective coaching style centered on growth, encouragement, and team unity. Zoe has a deep love and passion for the Stingrays, which is evident in the energy and commitment she brings to the team each day. She loves working with athletes of all ages and aims to build a strong foundational knowledge of swimming, helping each swimmer develop proper technique while gaining confidence in the water. As head coach, Zoe plans to continue building upon the Stingrays’ strong sense of community through structured practices focused on fundamentals, while helping swimmers set and achieve their goals. She is dedicated to fostering a positive, supportive, and motivating environment where every athlete can reach their full potential both in and out of the pool.

Macy is excited to bring both high-level competitive experience and a passion for athlete development to the program. As Division I swimmer at the University of Maine, Macy specialized in butterfly and achieved a top-10 finish in the 200 butterfly at the America East Championships, showcasing her dedication and skill at the collegiate level. With over 11 years of swimming experience, including extensive training with YOTA, Macy has built a strong technical foundation and a deep understanding of the sport. In addition to her competitive background, she has experience teaching swim lessons to athletes ages 8 and up, helping young swimmers develop confidence, improve technique, and enjoy the process of learning. Macy is committed to creating a positive, encouraging, and knowledgeable environment for all swimmers. In her role with the Stingrays, she strives to support each athlete’s growth, both in and out of the pool, while fostering a strong sense of teamwork and enthusiasm for the sport.

Coach Connor loves to play sports. He swims and plays volleyball for Millbrook HS and previously swam for MOR and played NCFC soccer. He’s also a big hockey fan and can often be found playing street hockey with a gaggle of neighborhood kids outside our house. Connor enjoys coaching and helping kids have fun with sports. He is looking forward to the 2025 swim season! Go Stingrays!
